Founded by Dan Branton and Louise Major in 2008, Igloo is usually set to a soundtrack of Radio 2. With a top score of 36 on Popmaster we're aficionados of cheesy tunes. We like to eat biscuits, things that look nice and drink lots of tea (did we mention that?).
We are united in our dislike of pretentiousness (probably because it’s hard to spell), egg mayonnaise and Celine Dion. Apart from these three things, we're a pretty easy going bunch. There isn't much that gets us truly flustered.
Louise has extensive experience of sales, marketing and graphic design and as a result is never lost for actions or words! She has a BA (hons) degree in Fashion Promotion & Illustration from The University for the Creative Arts and has done everything from transparency filing and late night artworking through to Account Management. Her solid design background helps to single her out as a true all-rounder. She is a natural problem solver and is totally customer focused – she’s only happy when the client is happy.
Dan is a man who gets his kicks by making things look good. It’s therefore ironic that he usually looks like he’s got dressed in the dark! Since graduating with a BA (hons) degree in Typography & Graphic Communication from Reading University, he has experienced studio life from Junior Designer (making the tea) through to Studio Manager (making everybody else make the tea) and now Creative Director (paying for the tea). His extensive industry experience gives him an exceptional understanding of design and print, which he uses to deliver creative solutions to often impossible deadlines.
Ben is a designer who loves print and digital design in equal measure. He might be quiet but his designs certainly do plenty of talking! Since graduating from University College Falmouth with a degree in Graphic Design back in 2006, Ben has worked as a creative designer, bringing new ideas and brands to life. With a keen eye for photography and illustration and a love of motorsport. Ben whiles away his spare time creating great images, which you’ll quite often find on our blog.
