Having worked closely with the University marketing department for over four years, we were asked to redesign their 2018/19 prospectus for a second time. The brief asked for the new prospectus to appeal to their worldwide student audience whilst selling the heritage and distinctive status of the University.
On our recommendation, we moved away from the standard A4 size previously used and utilised a smaller, more contemporary and ultimately cost-effective format. We worked closely with the marketing team and senior management to evolve the navigation to increase ease of use as both a reference and promotional tool. Imagery was also utilised to a greater degree in order to make the most of the stunning location and student testimonials included to illustrate ‘real-life’ benefits.p>
Having launched the new prospectus to a worldwide audience feedback was positive from both students and academics. The University has managed to buck the national trend with a gigantic 25% rise in admissions over the last year, one of the biggest increases in the country. The close collaboration process undertaken throughout the project has further enhanced our close links with the university and it’s ongoing marketing activity.
